The Tanith 1st, better known as the Tanith First and Only, are the single surviving military unit from the destroyed world of Tanith.They were originally a single-sex light infantry regiment, and were founded along with the Tanith 2nd and Tanith 3rd. After the destruction of Tanith, the remnants of the three regiments were integrated into a single regiment, named the Tanith 1st. First and Only was one of the first books published by Black Library and is the most read Warhammer 40,000 novel ever, an absolute classic. This story begins the saga of Colonel Commissar Gaunt and the Tanith First and Only that has since grown into a multi-novel epic.
- First and Only Colonel Elim Rawne was the second officer of the Tanith First and Only. He was the highest ranked Tanith -born, and had command of 3rd Platoon and then B Company. Often dubbed Fething Rawne, he was famous in the regiment for his dark cynicism as well as his tactical nous and fighting skills.

So I've finally collected enough minis to run a Brigade of Tanith 1st and Only. Now I'm trying to figure out how to run them. So far I'm thinking a custom Regiment with Woodland Survivors and Disciplined Shooters to represent their camo cloaks and rifle prowess. That or Tallarn to get some cool sneaky vibes coming in on the flanks.
Anyone ran anything similar or have any thoughts? I'm not super competitive, I just want the army to feel right.
