'Audio Frequency Analyzer' is a powerful real-time audio analyzer (RTA) app for iPhone. This app can measure the frequency response in 30 split band scale of 1/3 octave in real time. Also it can be displayed the FFT analysis result. 'Audio Frequency Analyzer' is available in a variety of applic. Frequency Analyzer is another free audio spectrum analyzer software for Windows. It is a simple and easy to use software with minimal options available at its interface. Like other software, it also generates frequency spectrum in real time. For that purpose, you need to either connect a microphone or provide input as WAV or Bitmap file. Sound Level Meter with Calibrator PCE-322-SC42. PCE-322A is a handheld, portable, professional Class 2 sound level meter or decibel (dB) meter with built-in data-logging or data-recording functionality. When this button is active the large Frequency Counter readout shows the frequency of the Trigger Source in hertz. Make sure that Trigger is active, Mode is set to Normal, and that Trigger Slope, Level, and Hysteresis are set appropriately for the signal to be measured. Note that Hysteresis is especially important for proper Frequency Counter operation when noise is present, much more so than for simple display triggering.
If the Hertz display is too jumpy, set the Frequency Counter update rate to Slow.
Trigger Holdoff should normally be set to zero. But to measure the rate of tone or noise bursts, without interference from the tone or noise itself, set Holdoff longer than the duration of the burst on-time: The trigger logic will be locked out after the first trigger of each burst is found, and won't be re-enabled until after the burst is past; it will then be ready to trigger on the next burst.
If no triggers are detected, or if Trigger is not active, the frequency remains at zero.
You can use the Min/Max buttons at any time to see the minimum and maximum frequencies since the last Reset.
Macro Notes:
FcountMode=Hz or FcountMode=0 sets the Frequency Counter to Hz mode. You can use either mnemonic names or numeric values (or variables or expressions) for setting, reading, or IF testing:
Note that if you use a name instead of a value in an IF test, it must be in quotes: IF.FcountMode='Hz'.
Freq is an internal variable that holds the current Frequency Counter readout value, dependent on the chosen mode (Hz, RPM, msec, Total, or SpecTot). You can assign it to a variable such as F via F=Freq, or you can display it via Msg=Freq, or use it directly in an expression.
Sound Frequency Tester
Total holds the count of total cycles counted since the last Reset, valid during Hz, RPM, or msec modes. This allows macros to get the Total value even when these other modes are active. Note that this does not work in SpecTot mode.

NIOSH estimates that 22 million workers in the United States are exposed to hazardous noise levels each year. The SLM app can help you prevent permanent hearing loss caused by noise—a problem that can occur immediately or over time.
NIOSH developed the app after its researchers found that most sound meter apps either weren’t accurate enough or lacked features important for occupational noise measurement and monitoring. NIOSH then collaborated with an app developer, EA LAB, to create a new app for use at worksites. Although the app is designed for use at worksites, it also provides accurate noise measurement for everyday use, and can be downloaded and used by anyone in any location, including concerts, movie theaters, sports events, and even school cafeterias.
Using a mobile device’s built-in microphone or an external microphone, the NIOSH SLM app measures occupational noise exposure the way professional measuring instruments do. For example, NIOSH SLM reports the sound level in different weighted decibels, including A-weighted decibels, which can give you a good idea of the level of sound that could harm your hearing. In addition, the app can save and share measurement data. NIOSH recommends using an external, calibrated microphone with any sound level app to increase accuracy.
The NIOSH SLM also includes information on preventing hearing loss, examples of noise levels and their risks to hearing, and a searchable database of devices to protect your hearing.
