It is a driver for the Wii U GCN USB adapter. This driver supports the official Nintendo Wii U Gamecube USB adapter, as well any third party adapters emulating the device WUP-028. Main features: - Use up to 4 gamecube controllers on 1 USB port. Only requires the black plug (gray is used to power the rumble motor). Wii U Gamecube Adapter on Mac OS X? Is there a way to use the Gamecube adapter on Mac OS X? It seems like there's already a driver for PC and Linux. Save hide report. This thread is archived. Wii U Gamecube Adapter Pc
Sorry, I'm a complete noob to this forum because I just made this account to ask this question.
So I bought a GameCube controller adapter, and while it works fine on the Nintendo Switch and WiiU (it's intended use), I decided to try and use it to play some Super Smash Bros. Melee. I changed the USB driver with Zadig and tried disconnecting the adapter, reinstalling the driver, restarting my computer, etc. None of it has worked.
The adapter is third party so I don't think it will be able to use the native support (for the WiiU official adapter and Mayflash), but when I try and configure it as a standard controller, Dolphin doesn't see the adapter at all.
How do I get the adapter to work, or is it not possible?
